Leigh + O’Kane provided structural engineering services for the Healthcare Delivery & Innovation Building at the University of Missouri–Kansas City, a state-of-the-art academic facility designed to advance interdisciplinary healthcare education, research, and collaboration.

The building brings together programs in medicine, dentistry, data science, and health equity, creating a shared environment that encourages innovation and cross-disciplinary learning. The project includes specialized teaching labs, simulation environments, and collaborative spaces designed to support both academic instruction and research initiatives.

Structural systems were carefully coordinated with the project team to support the complex programmatic needs of the facility while maintaining flexibility for future advancements in healthcare education and research.
